1. Information GoSlip processes
GoSlip processes information you provide, information created while you use the service, and limited technical information needed to operate and secure it.
- Account details such as email address, name, password hash, contact details, timezone, and preferences.
- Receipt images, extracted receipt fields, categories, classifiers, review status, and related audit information.
- Identifiers and connection state for messaging channels you choose to connect.
- Subscription status and payment-provider identifiers. GoSlip does not store full card numbers.
- Security, diagnostic, and authentication events needed to prevent abuse and investigate failures.
- Workspace membership, role, invitations, business name, subscription, usage, and ownership actions.
2. Why we use this information
We use the information to provide receipt capture and extraction, display and organize your records, authenticate users, operate connected channels, manage subscriptions, support users, improve reliability, and protect the service.
3. Automated extraction
Receipt images may be sent to AI and document-processing providers to extract fields and identify review issues. Automated output can be wrong. Review extracted amounts, merchants, dates, taxes, and categories before relying on them.
4. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose only the information needed to providers that support hosting, databases, object storage, AI processing, messaging connections, payments, email delivery, and error monitoring. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell receipt data.
5. Retention and account deletion
Personal account data and shared workspace data have separate lifecycles. Deleting or removing a member revokes that person's access and deletes applicable personal connection data, but does not delete receipts or other records owned by a shared workspace. Workspace activity records preserve the member's historical role and actions for security, support, and accountability for the lifetime of the workspace; after account deletion, the actor is shown as Deleted account without retaining the person's name or email in the activity record. An Owner must transfer ownership before deleting the account or separately delete the workspace. Workspace deletion is Owner-only and removes that workspace's business records, activity history, and connections without deleting the account subscription.
Pro and Enterprise provide activity-log access for the lifetime of the workspace. Basic and Team do not provide activity-log access. To delete an account, we require the current password and a one-time confirmation sent to the account email. After confirmation, we begin the account-deletion process. If a specific record must be retained by law, we will tell you; encrypted backups expire on their normal rotation.
6. Your choices and rights
You can correct profile information, manage the workspace records permitted by your role, export supported receipt data, disconnect capture channels, manage notification preferences, leave an eligible workspace, and request account deletion. Workspace Owners can transfer ownership or delete the workspace. Depending on where you live, additional access, correction, portability, objection, restriction, or erasure rights may apply.
7. Security and international processing
We use access controls, tenant-scoped queries, transport encryption, protected authentication cookies, provider security controls, and monitoring to reduce risk. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process data in countries other than your own, subject to their contractual and legal safeguards.
8. Contact and changes
Use the support channel in GoSlip for privacy questions or rights requests. We may update this policy when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through a reasonable in-product or account channel.
